Louise Harjo

Louise (Burgess) Harjo, departed this life on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at her home in Sasakwa, OK at the age of 87 years.

She was born July 22, 1933 in Vamoosa, OK to the late Hexton Burgess and Wisey Lowe Cully.

Preceding Louise in death are her parents, husband Richard Harjo Sr., daughter, Sharon Johnson, son Gerald Harjo grandson, Stanley Dean, brother Alex Cully and sister Florence Harjo.

Survivors include children Richard Harjo Jr. of Yukon, OK, Geraldine Harjo of Shawnee, OK, Marie Maldonado of Sasakwa, OK, Sonya Harjo of Midwest City, of Shawnee, OK, sixteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren., brother Wallace Cully of Konawa, OK, sister Evelyn Burgess (Punkta) of Shawnee, OK and Sue Givens of Vamoosa, Ok.

Private Family Wake, Family Only.

The body will be taken at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 10, 2020 to Spring Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Spring Baptist Church with Pastor’s Kellos Walker and Jay Downing officiating and burial to follow at Spring Baptist Cemetery.
