Margaret Byrd

Margaret Byrd, former Wewoka resident departed this life on Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Sunset Estate Nursing Home in Tecumseh at age of 88. She was born April 20, 1931 in Antlers, Oklahoma to the late Jessie Fisher and Oma England Fisher.

Preceding Margaret in death are her parents, husband Travis Byrd, siblings, Jesse James Fisher, Casey Fisher, Alma Turner, Maggie Welch, and Lillie Sill, daughter-in-law, Denise Byrd.

Survivors include three sons; Roy Byrd of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tom Byrd of Earlsboro and Gerald Byrd and wife Becki of Paradise, Texas, her brother, Buddy Fisher of Yeager, Oklahoma.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Holden-ville Cemetery with Dwight Parker officiating.

Honorary pall bearers will be Ashlee Byrd, Emilee Byrd, Marc Byrd, Josh Byrd, and Sam Byrd.
