William Franklin `Bill’ Moore passed away in Hartshorne, Oklahoma on Monday, November 9, 2020, at the age of 86 years.

Bill was the son of Floyd & Mollie (Brooks) Moore, born on June 1, 1934, in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

He was brought up in the Butner/Cromwell community, where he attended and graduated from the old Butner Schools. He loved playing basketball and was offered a sports scholarship, but chose to stay home and help his family.

He married Billie Robertson in Wewoka, Oklahoma on April 25, 1953. They made their home in the Wewoka and Cromwell area, and were blessed with sixty-seven years together before Billie passed away on October 4, 2020.

They owned and operated Diamond M Rodeo Company and Sports Arena in Cromwell, and furnished stock throughout the circuit and the National Finals Rodeo. Bill owned and operated Cromwell Builders & Supply, and worked as a carpenter and cabinet maker.

He and Billie were an integral part of the Butner School community, and helped form the Butner Booster Club.

They traveled many miles following the various activities of their kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. In addition, Bill worked many years for Butner Schools as a bus driver. He was into rodeos, team roping and bull riding, but his favorite hobby was taking care of his horses and cattle.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Billie Moore; his parents, Floyd & Mollie Moore; one brother, Burman Moore, and three sisters:

Jackie Beaman, Wanda Hill, and Geraldine Blaylock; his son-in-law, Gary Dove.

He is survived by three-children: Connie Loman (Ronnie) of Haileyville, Teresa Dove of Haileyville, and Frank Moore (Donna) of Cromwell; nine grandchildren: Missie Burdick (Jade), Clif Loman (Lora), Chris Loman (Mandy), Wil Loman (Shannan), Charles Dove (Sandra), Justin Green (Whitney), Colt Moore, Ashley Green, and Taylor Moore; twenty-three great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren; three sisters: Hazel Phelps of Springdale AR, Melba Hail of Sulphur, and Carmelita Grant of Cromwell; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 13, 2020, 2:00 p.m. at Highway Baptist Church in Seminole, and Bill will be laid to rest at Little Cemetery, Little OK. Rev. Carl Whitfield is the officiating minister.

Pallbearers are Chris Loman, Colt Moore, Wil Loman, Justin Green, Clifton Loman, and Brandon Moore.

Honorary pallbearers are Lloyd Sanders, Calvin Loman, Rudy Brown, Tim Russell, Keith Russell, Steve Boucher, Danny Joe Boucher, Corey Yeubanks, Clint Yeubanks, Clay Yeubanks, Damon Sanders, Jade Burdick, Shane Marshall, Darrin Marshall and Jimmy Songer.
