Willea Harjo

Willea “Crow” Harjo, age 65, passed away March 10, 2020 in Maud, Oklahoma.

He was born February 26, 1955 in Claremore, Oklahoma to parents Somie Harjo and Amanda (Little) Harjo.

He graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. He was a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma.

Crow served his country in the United States Marine Corp.

Crow worked as an independent contractor at Tinker Air Force Base. He also worked as a security guard for Seminole Nation Bingo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Robert Coody, Tim Harjo and Joe Coody, sisters; Noetta Harjo, Jessica Coody and Rosanna Jones, nephews; Micco Coody and Dakota Johnson.

Wake services for Crow will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday March 13, 2020 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Eric Thlocco and Kevin Fox officiating.

Burial will follow at the Harjo-Coody Family Cemetery in Seminole.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
