Willa Morris

Willa Mae Morris, age 77, Joplin, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Mercy of Joplin.

Willa was born March 19, 1943 in Seminole, Oklahoma, daughter of the late Chester Langston and Margaret Haigwood Langston.

She graduated from Seminole High School, and worked for years with 0 & F Machine Shop as a machinist.

In addition to her parents, Willa was preceded in death by a sister, Sybil Warden.

Survivors include her children, Les Langston of Joplin, Bobbi Franklin of Seminole, Oklahoma, Shelley Winstead, Billee Powell, and Chester Winstead all of Joplin; and 17 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy Langston, Jerry Langston, Creal Langston, John Langston, Gayle Langston, and Carl Langston; sister, Claire Hammerschmidt.

Graveside services will be Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Ozark Memorial Park with Rev. Phil Erwin officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
