Seminole resident, Wayne Pebworth, AKA Sokv G V Lon, entered into the spirit world.

Wayne was born on June 3rd, 1967, at the Seminole Municipal Hospital, to H.L. and Rosetta (Clark) Pebworth. He was baptized at Tallahassee Presbyterian Church, January 28, 1968, by Dr. Eugene Wilson. Wayne graduated from Pleasant Grove High School, with the class of 1984. He loved watching western movies, playing his guitar, and jamming out with his friend Dino Velo.

Wayne was like a palm tree in a storm, he would always bounce back up!

Wayne leaves behind his son, Justin “Bubba” Pebworth, of the home; his grandchildren, Aziya, Jaxtin, Aniya, and Andi, each of whom he would do anything, including his “Wayne’s World”; a sister, Nicole Rice of Jay, Oklahoma; nephew Nash Chamberlain and his wife Ellie, Kamry Chamberlain and daughters Leila and Letti Lindsey, of Claremore, Oklahoma; nephew Ky Pebworth and his daughters, Allison and Cassidy Pebworth; he raised Thunder Lena and Shaylon Burnside and her granddaughters, Savanna, Brenlin, and Breanna.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Logan, Jeff Harjo, Dino Velo, Winks Harjo, Bob Bush, Max Fixico, Ky Pebworth, Nash Chamberlain, Josh, Phil, Scoot, George Tiger, and Jeffrey Hulbutta.

A wake service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Service will be Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
