Ursula Shannon

Shannon Ursula Dawn Shannon age 51, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born in Oklahoma City, OK on December 10, 1972 to the late Neman Harjo Sr. and Mary Ann Larney.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Neman Harjo Jr., Delhia Harjo, and Steven Harjo; nephews, Calvin Harjo, and Mark Anthony Alexander Harjo.

Ursula is survived by her children, DeVante Baker of OKC, OK, Kadijah Sandoval of OKC, OK; four grandchildren of OKC, OK; siblings, Toney Harjo of OKC, OK, Jay Harjo of OKC, OK, Lawanda Carrillo of Texas, Pauletta Ortiz of OKC, OK, Bruce Harjo of OKC, OK; aunts, Elizabeth Yahola, Yvonne Kay Shields, Josetta Larney; uncle Lucian Jake Larney, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Wake service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Kaney Chapel in Wewoka, OK.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Kaney Chapel in Wewoka, OK with Pastor Curtis Kinney officiating, assisted by Pastor Houston Tiger. Interment to follow at Larney Family Cemetery in Seminole, OK.
