Trenton Whitson
Trenton Avery Whitson passed from this life on December 24, 2021, in his home at the age of 18. He was born on June 12, 2003, to Bobby Allen Whitson and Lindsey Dawn Jones in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He currently resided in Wolf, Oklahoma with his grandmother, Kathy Whitson, who loved her “Punkin” unconditionally and two great uncles, Samuel “Sambo” and George “Junior” England. He attended Seminole and Maud Public Schools the last several years and would have graduated high school in May 2022.
Trenton loved to play sports and had a natural talent in baseball. He enjoyed fishing and just hanging out with family and friends. He was most definitely one of a kind and he loved Big. He touched the hearts of many people during his short time here. He built bonds that were unbreakable with ones that he called his “moms”. He loved to pester his little sisters but loved them with all his heart. Trenton was loved and will truly be missed by so many.
Trenton is survived by his father; Bobby A. Whitson of Wolf, his mother; Lindsey D. Jones of Shawnee, four sisters; Mariah Jones of Wewoka, Kyndra Whitson of Seminole, Marina and Alina Dennis of Shawnee, one brother; Awsome Dennis of Shawnee, his paternal grandmother; Kathy Whitson of the home, maternal grandfather; Mark Jones of Wewoka, aunts; Kelly and husband Dylan Burkhurt of Seminole, Michelle Jones and spouse Tyler Tucker of Shawnee, uncles; Steve Moore of Shawnee and Cory Moore of Denver, Colorado, a few bonus parents of Seminole and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marilee Jones.
Trenton’s funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Erick Tholocco and Kevin Fox officiating. Burial will follow at England Family Cemetery in Wolf, Oklahoma.
Casket bearers will be Nicholas Barnett, Zachary Kelough, Isaac Barnett, Jordan Barnett, Jackson McClanahan and Colby Simons. Honorary bearers will be Cody England, Bobby Whitson and Jerry Haynes.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
