Tony Nokcus Herrod age 43, passed away Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 in Overlandpark, Kansas. He was born October 15th, 1978 in Onawa, Iowa to the late Holloway Herrod and Nancy (Welbourne) Herrod.
Tony graduated from Hiawatha High School and went to Haskell Indian Nations University. He was an enrolled member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma and was of Creek, Cherokee, and Potawatomi ancestry. He was a mechanic for most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Tony is survived by his children, Koda Herrod of Sydney, NE, Isabella Herrod of Sydney, NE, Anya Herrod of Junction City, KS, siblings, Holly Possley of Chandler, AZ, Jon Herrod of Farmington, NM, Nadina Moulden of Topeka, KS.
Wake service will be 4:00 p.m. Monday January 17, 2022 at Tookparfka Church in Calvin, OK.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday January 18, 2022 at Tookparfka Church in Calvin, OK. with interment to follow at the Herrod Family Cemetery north of Wetumka, OK.
