Terry Winterscheid

Terry G. Winterscheid, born on April 11, 1958, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Edward and Janise Winterscheid, passed away on May 25, 2024. A proud graduate of Catoosa High School, class of 1976, Terry pursued higher education at Claremore Junior College and the University of Tulsa, where he studied Business and Marketing.

Throughout his life, Terry worked as both an electrician and a salesman. On September 9, 1989, he married the love of his life, Le’Robbye Lynne Hutton, in Seminole, Oklahoma. Together, they built a home and shared over 34 wonderful years.

A dedicated member of Immanuel Fellowship Church for over three decades, Terry served in many capacities, including Children’s Pastor, Royal Rangers Post Commander, Sunday School Teacher, and Prison Ministry Volunteer. He had a passion for fishing, cherished time spent with his grandchildren, and was an avid fan of Sooner sports and the Chicago Cubs.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Edward Winterscheid. He is survived by his beloved wife, Le’Robbye L. Winterscheid; his four children: Aaron Winterscheid and his wife Cora of Seminole, Oklahoma, Isaac Winterscheid of the home, Kyndall Arhens and her husband Kenneth of Waco, Texas, and Elizabeth Lewis and her husband Jarred of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and four grandchildren, Bentley, Bryson, Brayden, and Kinslee Winterscheid. He is also survived by his mother, Janise A. Winterscheid of Claremore, Oklahoma; his brother, Jerry Allen, and his wife Debbie Winterscheid of Claremore, Oklahoma; two sisters, Cindy Pendergraff and her husband Gerald of Agra, Oklahoma, and Sandra Motter and her husband Rick of Pryor, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at Immanuel Fellowship Church in Seminole, Oklahoma, on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery. He is now in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
