Teddy (Ted) Thomas Lewis left to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior on June 8, 2023. This was also his father, Tomie Lewis’ birthday. Teddy was 91.

Teddy was in the US Army and was stationed in Japan with the Military Police. During this time he was awarded the Korean Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and Good Conduct medal.

Teddy is survived by his wife, Georgia Lewis of rural Seminole County; son, Curtis Lewis; three grandchildren; and three nieces, He is preceded in death by his parents, Tomie and Myrtle Lewis; older sister, Irene Gideon and older brother, Gene Lewis.

Teddy will be buried at the Wolf Cemetery, South of Seminole at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 19, 2023.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
