Tara Baker

Tara Dawn (Harjo) Baker, age 36 and a resident of Ada, Oklahoma, passed away from this life, Friday, August 21, 2020 at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma.

A Wake service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday Night, August 26, 2020 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Grace Community Church in Vamoosa, Oklahoma. Ellis Taylor and Rev. Drew Isaacs will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.

Tara was born October 14, 1983 in Ada, Oklahoma to Nathan Harjo and Julia (Walton) Harjo.

She graduated from Konawa High School and attended Seminole State College. She was the Scheduling Specialist for Chickasaw Nation Transportation.

She is survived by two daughters, Jacy Harjo and Emily Redbird, both of the home; one sister, Melissa Harjo also of the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Julia Harjo, and one son, Eli Larney.
