Spencer Childers
Spencer Tate Childers of Ada, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, July 21st, 2022.
Spencer was born October 22nd, 1996 in Ada, Oklahoma to Bradley Dale and Kimberly Ann Norman Childers.
Spencer graduated from Ada High School in 2015 and later attended the University of Oklahoma. Spencer was a member of the Ada First United Methodist Church. After college Spencer went into the family business helping his parents run E Stop Express and Al’s Wine and Spirits and also was self employed doing computer programing and website design. Spencer enjoyed working with technology and spending time with his family and friends. Spencer was always positive and never talked negatively about anything or anyone. Whenever you ask who said it or where he heard it he would say - I’m not going to say because who knows if its true and I don’t wanna hurt them. We all will remember how funny he was. Spencer was so smart that at times we didn’t even understand his knowledge. Spencer had a kind and loving spirit and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. To know him was to love him, he lit up the room with his infectious smile and spirit.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Leroy and Anna Lorraine Childers, Gary Don Norman and his uncle, Michael Childers.
He is survived by his parents, Bradley Dale and Kimberly Ann Childers of Ada, OK; one sister, Sarah Kate Childers of Ada, OK; grandmother, Mary Ann Norman of Wewoka and his aunt’s and uncle’s Brad and Angie Norman of Wewoka, OK, Kyra Childers of Ada, OK, Philip and Anna Childers of Tulsa, OK, Gary Childers of Ada, OK; cousin’s Blayne Norman of Wewoka, OK, Baylie Norman Hauger and husband Chris of Wewoka, OK, Emma Norman of Wewoka, OK, Eyan Norman of Wewoka, OK, Julie Childers of Lubbock, TX, James Childers of Ada, OK, Chris Childers of Irving, TX, Liam Shaughnessy of Tulsa, OK. and numerous other relatives and friends. Celebration of Spencer’s life will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday July 26, 2022 at Estes-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Ada, Oklahoma with Dr. David Daniel officiating.
Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
