Shilynn Lovett
Shilynn Jo Lovett passed from this life on September 19, 2019 at AllianceHealth Seminole.
Shi was born in Shawnee, OK on December 22, 2000 to Rickey Lynn Lovett Jr and Summer Rose Barnett.
Shilynn was a loving and happy young woman with a unique and caring family. And family meant the world to Shi. She was lucky enough to have eight loving parents: Summer Barnett and John Bowman; Rickey Jr. and Tonya Lovett; Shannyn Barnett and Melissa Pasquet; and Stanley and Shawna Lincoln.
She will be missed dearly by her siblings brother Harley Lovett and wife Emily; Sisters Kaylee and Alysa Lovett, Makia Marzett, Shannon, Savannah and Sophia Lincoln, brother Stuart Lincoln, step-sisters Maley Tiger, Stefanye Dillon, Naomi Bowman, and step-brothers Matthew and C.T. Dillon, and Deven and ‘Johnboy’ Bowman. Shilynn also had an immense love for her nephews and niece Blayne and Jayse Lovett and Letty Tiger.
Shilynn is survived by three grandmas that love her beyond words Teresa Edmondson of Maud, Darla Harris of Seminole, and Vicki Bowman of Seminole.
Shilynn was so happy to have found the two loves of her life Joseph Rideaux Jr. and daughter Hazel.
Shilynn is also survived by a host of friends, family members, and a community that loves her.
Shilynn was baptized in July of 2019 in Sportman’s Lake by Pastor Jimmy Moreland of Lord’s Community Church.
As much as Shi was loved, she also loved people and she had an affinity for caring for the elderly. She became a certified nurse aide at the age of 17, graduating from Gordon Cooper Technology Center while still attending high school. During high school Shi was a member of the National Honors Society and Native American Student Association. She played softball for a majority of her life. Shilynn graduated from Seminole High School with plans to attend college to become a nurse in the future. She loved art and was amazing at it.
Shilynn is preceded in death by her grandparents Rick Sr and Toni Lovett and Joe Barnett.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma. Pastor Jim Moreland of Lord’s Community Church will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Tiger Family Cemetery in Wolf, OK.
Casket Bearers will be: Stuart Lincoln, Michael, Zachary, and Nicholas Kelough, Matthew Dillon, and Chevy Lovett.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
