Sherri LaJuana Nichols age 68, passed away, Sunday, January 1, 2023 in Wewoka, OK. She was born November 2, 1954 in Lima, OK to John Jelly Bruner and Bertha Lee Simpson.

She graduated from Lima School and then attended Seminole Junior College. She enjoyed watching Judge Judy, getting her mind right, she was always the number one winner in dominoes, she loved spending time with her family and she loved all the neighborhood kids like her own.

She is preceded in death by her father, husband Jameson Ray Nichols, sisters, Hazelwood Banks, Gertha Abraham, Teresa Bullock, brother, Jerry Bruner.

Sherri is survived by her mother, Bertha Lee (Washington) Simpson, of Texas, children, Shameeca Nichols of Wewoka, OK, Rockcie Love Nichols, of Texas, Shalonda Nickols, of Wewoka, OK, Unique Nichols of Wewoka, OK, Starlett Nichols of Texas, Cue Nichols of New York, grandchildren, Atrillion Nichols, Kalaya Nichols, Qurion Miles, DaMarion Nichols, Sania Giffis, Dylan Nichols, Haason Nichols McFadden, JaMarcus Nichols, Jaylin Rodriques, Calos Nichols, Aniayah Cole, Diamond Nichols, Mya Nichols, Serina Nichols Lazarus Palton, Rockcie “Roxy” Nichols, Dejhah Metoyer, Trayvon Nichols, Tyler Samuels, Rome Nichols, Vision Nichols, great grandchildren, Kynzlee Mae Coker Nichols, Da’Zyla Coker Nichols, siblings, Senobia Drake, Darlene Reed, Johnny Bruner, Michael Bruner, Mary Wallace, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 6, 2022 at Stout-Phillips Chapel in Wewoka, OK with Dan Factor officiating.
