Shannan Spain

Spain Shannan Rene Spain passed away Saturday, September 21st, 2024 at her childhood home in Wewoka, Oklahoma at the age of 49.

Shannan was born April 14, 1975 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Billy Spain Sr. and Cynthia (Gooden) Spain. Shannan graduated from Wewoka High School.

Shannan is preceded in death by her father Billy Spain Sr. and grandson Alex Bruner. She is survived by her mother Cynthia Spain children; Leon Bruner III of Ardmore, Autumn Bruner of Ardmore, Cameron Bruner of Ardmore, five grandchildren, and siblings Lucretia Rivers, Bill Spain Jr., Michael Spain, Fred Lowe Jr., and Tonya Spain. Shannan is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Shannan was taken to her childhood home in Wewoka on Sunday, September 22nd, and will be there until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 26th. She will be taken to High Springs Indian Baptist Church in Konawa, Oklahoma.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 26, 2024 at High Springs Indian Baptist Church in Konawa.

Interment will follow at High Springs Indian Cemetery.
