Sernanda Anderson

Sernanda Ruth Anderson, McAlester resident, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at her home, at the age of 75. Sernanda was born on September 21, 1946, in Midland, Texas to Charley Robert Flannery and Alma Clay (Brown) Flannery.

Sernanda is survived by her husband, Philip David Anderson of the home; son, William Anderson of Stratford, OK; two daughters, Serna Anderson of Stuart, OK and Dana (Anderson) Thompson of Holdenville, OK; six grandchildren, one great-grandson, three step-daughters, Jacque (Anderson) Orndorf of Arizona, Laura (Anderson) Page of South Carolina and Leslie D. Prigge of Florida; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

Sernanda was preceded in death by her parents Charley and Alma Flannery and her brother, Charles Edward Flannery.

Viewing will be Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
