Ruby “Arnetta” Harjo of Sasakwa, OK passed away Dec. 22, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 80.
Arnetta was born Dec. 21, 1940 in Sasakwa, OK to Tom and Grace Harris. She attended Culley School in Sasakwa.
Arnetta married Sam Harjo on Sept. 24, 1957 in Wewoka, OK.
Arnetta was a homemaker and a great babysitter for all her grandkids who will miss her dearly. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her soap operas, working on crossroad puzzles, and taking family trips to Branson, MO.
Arnetta is preceded in death by her parents; Infant daughter, Tina Harjo; Brothers, Tommy Dale Harris and Charles Harris; Great Granddaughter, Scotland Bible; Special Aunt Virginia Norman; Special brother-in-law David Conley and Sister-in-law Joyce Harris; Special Cousin, Doris Trimble and special friends who have a lot of catching up to Anita Lyons, Linda Neeley, and Francis Walton.
She is survived by her husband, Sam of the home; Daughter, Dona and husband Jeff Hudson of Sasakwa; Son, Jay Harjo of Sasakwa,
Grandchildren; Racheal and Byron Bible, Tina and Mundo Torres, Logan and Shelby Hudson, and Colton Harjo; Great Grandchildren, Presley, Ivy, Anthony, Bryor, Armando, Adilee, Alex, Anzlee, Aleah, Alisyn, and Augusta; Sisters, Sue and Husband Edward Giles, and Nancy Conley; Brothers, Larry Harris, David Harris, and Roy Harris; Sister in laws Judy Harris, Mary and Husband Kenneth Norman. Arnetta is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
Pallbearers: Grandson’s Logan, Byron, Colton, Mundo, Anthony, Bryor, Armando and Alex.
Honorary Pallbearers: Nephews; Dale Harris, Bubba Giles, David Conley, James Harris, David Harris, Dustin Harris, Roy Harris, and Cody Harris. Along with special friends: Calvin Neeley, Gene Streatman, Kenneth Batey, Dennie Prather, Huley Harjo, and Darrell Harjo.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday December 28, 2020 at Stout Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Wewoka, OK.
The family would like to say a Special Thank You to Tosha, Dennie, Shelly and Kindful Hospice for all the care and love they gave to Arnetta.
