Rena Orsburn

Rena Ruth Orsburn, age 79 departed this life on Sunday September 8, 2019 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born in Sasakwa, OK April 22, 1940 to the late Alvie Morgan Watters and Mary Lou Tarpley Watters.

She married James Orsburn August 22, 1957 in Ada, OK and to this union two children were born.

Rena was a Mother and homemaker. She attended Midway Baptist Church. In her spare time she was cooking, sewing, working in her flower bed, or helping James bale hay and tending to the ranch.

Preceding Rena in death are her parents, sister Mary Frances Lyons, brother Buddy Watters.

Survivor include husband James Orsburn of the home, daughter Jo Lynn Fairres of Sasakwa, OK, son James Kevin Orsburn and wife Vicki of Sasakwa, OK; brothers Jimmy Watters of Sasakwa, OK, Chock Watters of Virginia, Derrell Watters of Morrison, OK, and Ricky Watters of Lakeland, FL. ; grandchildren Shannon Tillery, Vince Tillery, Jeremy Johnson, Mathew Odom , Brad Hunter, Cody Hunterand numerous great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Honorary pall bearers will be Shannon Tillery, Vince Tillery, Dakota Tillery, Jordon Tillery, Israel Tillery, Emma Tillery, Eli Tillery, Jeremy Johnson, Mathew Odom, Brad Hunter, Cody Hunter, Seth Honsinger, and Slade Honsinger.

Memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel with Pastors Frank Moppin and Phillip Mullins officiating.
