Randy Tingwald

Randy Sam Tingwald of Wewoka, Okla., passed away on Nov 8, 2019, in Wewoka.

He was born on April 28, 1962, to Raymond and Shirley Tingwald in Wewoka.

A proud Wewoka High school graduate of 1981, he always supported school activities.

He worked through his high school years at Green Spray Convenience Store and Norman’s Drug Store.

Randy learned working hard was a virtue from his mom and they enjoyed working together for many years at Wrangler in Seminole.

He later worked for Family Dollar Store and Seminole County Sheriff’s Department. Randy was a member of First Baptist Church of Wewoka.

Preceding Randy in death are his parents, Raymond and Shirley Tingwald; and his grandmother, Julia Brown.

Survivors include his siblings, David Teague, James and Pam Tingwald, Michael Tingwald, Edward Tingwald, Charline Hammond, Pam and Patsy Tingwald.

A funeral service was scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Wewoka.

Rev. Dan Factor officiated the service, which is under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Russell Hammond, Devin Hammond, Tommy Hammond, Rusty Stroup, Matt Welch, Cody Clopton and Malachi Houser.

Honorary bearers include Kendall Hammond, Tommy Hammond and Nikki Bible.

Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka.
