Oleta Marcenia States, 85, longtime Prague, Oklahoma resident, died February 18, 2020 in Prague, Oklahoma.
She was born June 2, 1934 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Leonard V. Farris and Brenda C. (Stapp) Farris.
Oleta graduated from high school and had a nursing degree from Vo-tech Schools.
Oleta married William Neil States on February 6, 1998 in Holdenville, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on May 10, 2018.
She is survived by her daughter; Sharie D. Reed and her husband Ronnie J. Reed of Prague, Oklahoma, her brother Leon Farris of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, along with ten grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma, with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
Burial will follow at Garden Grove Cemetery Southwest of Prague, Oklahoma.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
