Nyetta Lynn (Douglas) Rowell, age 62 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away December 14, 2021 at Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada, Oklahoma.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2021 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the funeral home.
Nyetta was born September 7, 1959 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to A. B. Douglas and Naomi (Ramsey) Douglas. After graduation, she married Allen Lee Rowell on his birthday on November 19, 1977 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker, and she and Allen had two wonderful children, Jerry and Keisha.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Rowell and wife, Julia of Midwest City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Keisha Rowell and Andrew Dunagan of Midwest City; two brothers, Jack Douglas and wife, Beverly of Konawa, and Mickey Douglas and wife, Francene of Seminole, Oklahoma; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A. B. And Naomi Douglas; and her husband, Allen Rowell on August 19, 2014.
