Mildred Parker
Funeral services for Mildred (Farris) Stanfield Parker will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Cromwell, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Little Cemetery.
Mildred Colleen Parker was born March 4, 1930 in Okemah, Oklahoma to J.E. Farris and Lila (Goff) Farris.
She passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 91.
Mrs. Parker was a longtime resident of the Okemah area and current resident of Shawnee. She married Harley Stanfield on March 16, 1946; he later preceded her in death in 1983.
On January 8, 2000, she married Tommy Parker; he too preceded her in death in 2015.
Mrs. Parker enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and crocheting. She also loved getting together with her family and was a very active member of the Cromwell First Baptist Church
Also preceding her in death were three sons, Harley Jr., Duwayne and Leslie; two brothers, Robert and James and four sisters, Betty Jane Brackin, Maxine Dunham, Mary Jo Morrison and Carolyn Pinkston.
Survivors include her son, Tracy D. Stanfield and wife Deanna of Crystal River, Florida; two daughters, Barbara Campbell and husband Chet of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Vicky Fowler and husband Richard of Del City, Oklahoma; one brother, Gerald Farris and wife Delores of Okemah; one sister, Barbara Payne of Dover, Arkansas; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Fowler, Dalton Bass, Jordan Bass, Joe Stanfield, Ric Markland, Tyler Stanfield and Shaun Fowler.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma and officiated by Rev. Eric Campbell.
