Michael Starr

Michael Dewayne Starr of Wewoka passed away Thursday June 6, 2019 at the age of 54 years.

Michael was born May 16, 1965 in Wewoka to Daniel and Nell Billie Starr.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Starr, brothers; Danny Starr, Louie Starr, Terry Starr and David Starr, sister, Robin Starr, grandparents; Joe and Louisa Billie, Lena and Eli Starr, a nephew and great nephew.

He is survived by his mother Nell Starr of Wewoka, sister, Laquita Starr of Wewoka, nieces, Teresa and Stafanie and nephew, Mathew whom he helped raise, three great nieces and three great nephews, great aunt Naomi Jacobs and numerous other relatives and friends.

Wake service will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday May 8, 2019 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.

Wake service will be 7:30 p.m. Sunday June 9, 2019 at Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church in Wewoka.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday June 10, 2019 at Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church in Wewoka with Pastor’s Houston Tiger and Mitchell Taylor officiating.

Pallbearers are Jr. Tiger, George Tiger, John Billie, Leeotis Moses, Elijah Panoske and Marcus Panoske.

Honorary Pallbearers are Mathew Armstrong, Damion Armstrong, James Starr, William Phillips, Shannon Starr and Wallace Cully.

Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka.

Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
