Michael Dewayne Mathews, of Wewoka, Oklahoma, passed away March 26, 2020, age 68.
He was born in Seminole, Oklahoma on November 12, 1951, to Juanita (Martin) Mathews.
Michael loved the outdoors. He enjoyed coon hunting and broke horses.
Michael also raised Catahoula dogs. He retired from county as a road grader operator.
His favorite movies were Western films.
Michael is survived by his son, Michael Jarrod Mathews and wife Jessica, three grandchildren; Marley, Levi, and Kyle Mathews, as well as his niece and aunt.
Michael is preceded in death by his wife Kathy Mathews, brother, “Doc” Mathews, brother, Kenny Mathews, sister, Kathy England; and mother Juanita Mathews.
