Mentora Hood

Mentora “Peaches” (Roberts) Hood, lifelong Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away at the age of 88 on November 24, 2020.

She was born November 9, 1932 in Seminole County to parents Jake Roberts and Martha (Jackson) Roberts.

She married Willie Hood in 1995.

She worked for many Seminole families in Seminole over the years.

Mentora leaves to cherish her memory her sons; Albert and Kevin Burdine, daughters; Verla Coleman and Felicia Pledger, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Willie Hood.

Viewing for Mentora will be from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 2 and Thursday, December 3 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Jackson Family Cemetery northwest of Wewoka with her son Kevin Burdine officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
