Lillie Mae Phillips

Lillie Mae Phillips was born on March 24, 1924 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Glass Marshall and Evangeline Whitfield.

She grew up in the community of Little River and attended Oakridge School.

Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Nathaniel Lottie, Clifton Lottie, Rayford J. Marshall, Everett Marshall, sisters: Exzetta McKnight, Lavana Goodwin, and Lucy Ann Patton. Daughter: Ruby L Street, Grandchildren: Tanya Moore and Richard Smiley.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; her sister Maggie King, children Thelma Warrior, Ella Hanson, Exzetta Smiley, Edna Overstreet, Margaret Phillips, and Virgil Phillips. Fifteen grandchildren, Thirty-Eight great grandchildren, 11 great great grand children, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 12, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Officiating will be Pastor Gaylon “Stacy” Bert. Interment to follow at Westwood Cemetery.
