Lillian Chesser

Chesser Long time New Lima resident, Lillian Chesser age 77, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born June 28, 1946 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to the late Earnest Lee and Bertha (Obrien) Lee. She married Johnny Lee Chesser on February 14, 1989 in Wewoka, OK.

She graduated from Strothers and worked as a supervisor for Wrangler until retirement. She enjoyed sewing, reading, horses, being outdoors, spoiling her grandchildren, going to church, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny Lee Chesser; brother, Billy Lee; sisters, Susie Lee, Mary Ruth Lee.

Lillian is survived by her children, Linda Wilson of New Lima, OK, Michael James of Hominy, OK; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Earnie Lee of Wetumka, OK; sisters, Peggy McCormick of Bartlesville, OK, Regina Seaman of Morris, OK, Debbie Long of El Reno, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, March 22, 2024 at House of Prayer Church in Wewoka, OK with Pastor Bill Chesser officiating, assisted by Tammy Sharp. Interment to follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole, OK.
