Laura Parthenia Campbell, age 90, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 in Purcell, OK. She was born March 30, 1932 in Natural Dam, AR to the late Ed Workman and Evoline Burks Workman. She married Alfred David Campbell on June 13, 1949.
Laura attended school at Van Buren. She attended New Life Church in Wewoka, OK. She enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, crocheting, and cooking.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Alfred Campbell, and 17 siblings.
Laura is survived by her children, Peggy Singer of Concord, CA, Luann Harris and husband Zack of Purcell, OK, Chris Campbell and Christine Dunsmore of Wewoka, OK, Joel Campbell of Elmore City, OK, grandchildren, Peter Pitchlynn, Shawn Hall, Kathryn Gilliland, Zack Harris II, Laura Spohrer, Patrick Harris, Keila Mayfield, Eric Campbell, Khouri Campbell, Karlie Campbell, Amber Campbell, 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, sibling, Gail Dean of Alma, AR, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at New Life Church in Wewoka, Oklahoma with Tommy Azlin officiating. Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers: Peter Pitchlynn, Zack Harris II, Patrick Harris, Eric Campbell, Scott Spohrer, Jay Mayfield, Tom Gilliland.
