Kristy Fixico

Kristy Dawn Fixico of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away July 31, 2022, at the age of 40. She was born December 6, 1981, to Nancy Fixico and Michael Yarbrough. She was enrolled as a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma and belonged to the Eufaula Band and Sweet Potato Clan. Her maternal grandparents are George B and Christine B Harjo.

Kristy is survived by her brother; Jeff Fixico, her sons; Angelo Fixico of Lawrence, Kansas, Matthew Fixico of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Andrew Fixico of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Seth Fixico of Shawnee, Oklahoma, daughters; Addyson Fixico and Paisley Fixico of Seminole, Oklahoma, many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Wake services will be Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel and the Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 5, 2022, at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the B. Harjo Cemetery, North of Seminole.

Casket bearers will be Angelo Fixico, Matthew Fixico, Andrew Fixico, Seth Fixico, Keith Travis and Matthew Hulbutta. Lady Warriors, Honorary casket bearers; Rosetta Pebworth, Sharon Proctor, Geneva B. Harjo, Janie Bear, Lisa B. Harjo, Naomi B. Harjo, Cynda B. Harjo and Sheila Smith. Honorary casket bearers; Jeff Fixico, Marsey B. Harjo, William B. Harjo, Yogi B. Harjo, Mody B. Harjo and Ryan Smith.
