John Jackson III

John Charles Henry Jackson III, age 70 of Wimberly, Texas, passed away on October 1, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He was born September 28, 1950 in Syracuse, New York to parents John Charles Henry Jackson, Jr. and Elizabeth Jane (Burkhart) Jackson.

He was a high school graduate.

John married Regina April (Deemer) Jackson on March 20, 1985 in Phoenix, Arizona.

He worked in corrections for 4 years. After that he went on to own his own fabrication shop in Mesa, Arizona. He worked for Porch Brothers, Inc.

Leaving to cherish John’s memory are his wife; Regina Jackson of Wimberly, Texas, his sons; Robert Jackson of Seattle, Washington and John Charles Jackson IV of Alexandria, Virginia, his daughters; Rebecca Doherty of Murrieta, Cali-fornia, Deborah Gates of Homestead, Tennessee, Candice Hannah of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Kimberly Wright of Prescott Valley, Arizona and Victoria Lucas of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, his brother; Mathew Jackson of Austin, Texas, his sister; Betty Jane Jackson of Mountain Home, Arkansas and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, his mother and two granddaughters.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
