John T. Guthrie, Jr., age 55, and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away at his home in Oklahoma City.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
John was born in Throckmorton, Texas, to John Guthrie and Charla Ann (Bruner) McGee.
He graduated from Konawa High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Platt College in Oklahoma City.
He was a Creative Director of Decor and Entertainment for Tours and Event Planning.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Bill and Charla McGee of Konawa; two sisters, Pam Davis of Weatherford, Texas and Lisa Griffin of Stratford, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Guthrie.
