Jesse Lawrence Walker, age 93 and a long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away January 9, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Jesse was born January 4, 1929 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to James Ernest Walker and Eliza Eva (Dotson) Walker. He married the love of his life, Betty Jean Price on June 3, 1951 in Temple, Oklahoma.
He is survived by one son, Lawrence Walker; three daughters, Alice Burgess of Norman, Oklahoma, Susan Walker of Konawa, Oklahoma, and Carol Fathi; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Eliza Walker; wife, Betty Walker on December 15, 2020; 1 granddaughter, Rebekah Burgess; 7 brothers; and 4 sisters.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2022 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Rev. Pam Shirk will officiate, and burial will follow at Konawa Cemetery.
