Jerry Ray Kean, a resident of Sallisaw, passed from this life in Bartlesville, OK on June 14, 2021 in the Journey Home Hospice Care.
Jerry was born on April 16, 1948 in Prague, Oklahoma to Cora and Albert Kean. He grew up in Seminole and joined the army in December of 1967 and served in Vietnam until December 1970. He married his high school sweetheart, Joyce Driskell, on April 29, 1971.
Jerry leaves behind a son, Justin Kean, of Pharoah and wife Retta, also a daughter, Christy Blair and husband, John, of Durant, OK.
Jerry also had four grandchildren. Leaving behind also three sisters, Dora Jacks and Sue Lemaster, of Seminole, OK, and Glenda Roland of Davis, OK. Three brothers, Eldon and Lonnie Kean of Seminole and Carroll Kean of Mt. Vernon MO.
Jerry is preceded in death by his wife Joyce, Albert and Cora Kean, one sister, Barbara, and three brothers, Kenneth Malvin, and Jimmy Kean.
Services are pending.
Jerry voiced his profession of faith in Christ that his was ready to meet the Lord before he passed away.
