James Eugene Tingwald

James Eugene Tingwald, age 58 of Sunset, Texas passed away on April 20, 2023. He was born on October 2, 1964 in Perry, Iowa to Raymond and Shirley (Teague) Tingwald. James graduated from Wewoka High School in 1982. He then joined the United States Marines where he served two tours of duty. Afterwards, he began his career with the United States Postal Service in Fort Worth, Texas.

Preceding James in death are his parents, Raymond Tingwald and Shirley Tingwald; grandmother, Julia Brown, brothers Randy Tingwald, Mike Tingwald, and Edward Tingwald.

Survivors include his children Jason Tingwald and Elanna Tingwald, siblings, David Teague, Charline Hammond, Pam and Patsy Tingwald, eight nephews and one niece as well as a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Stout-Phillips Chapel in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Pastor Joe Sharber will officiate the service.

Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, OK.
