James Floyd Davis age 78 of Wewoka, Oklahoma departed this life Friday, November 19th, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. He was born April 13th, 1943 in Texarkana, Arkansas to the late Crawford Jessie Earl Davis and Alta Jewel (Hunt) Davis. He married Wilma Josephine Davis December 23, 1961 in Cloverdale, California.
Mr. Davis graduated from Cloverdale High School in California. He was a plant manager for commercial brick most of his life. He enjoyed watching wildlife, hunting, camping, and traveling. James loved his grandchildren and family.
James Davis is preceded in death by his parents; Crawford and Alta Davis, brother; Jessie Davis, and Great-Grandson; Tyler Lennox.
He is survived by his Wife; Wilma Davis of Wewoka, OK, Daughters; Debra Mays and husband Randy of Choctaw, OK, Karen Morgan and husband Matt of Converse, TX, Sons; James Davis Jr. of Seminole, OK, Robert Davis and wife Carla of Wasilla, AK, three Grandsons, four Granddaughters, and sixteen Great-Grandchildren. Sisters; Linda Notz and husband Mike of New Mexico, Carolyn Brewer of Wewoka, OK, Brothers; Crawford Davis and wife Sandy of Wewoka, OK, Gary Davis and wife Nancy of Ardmore, OK.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Stout-Phillips Chapel in Wewoka, OK with Pastor C.L. Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery.
