Imogene “Hill” Carpitcher, age 80, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022 at her home in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born on April 13, 1942 to Frank and Mandy Hill. She was the second of 9 children. Imogene was married on June 26, 1962 to Andrew Wayne Carpitcher.
Imogene was the mother of four children, Clarence Wayne Carpitcher, Wynona Sue West, Rose Ann Carpitcher, Ronnie Cornelius Carpitcher and one son-in-law Charles West, all from Oklahoma City. Imogene had 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Imogene “Hill” Carpitcher was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mandy Hill, husband, Andrew Wayne Carpitcher, two sons, Clarence Wayne Carpitcher and Ronnie Cornelius Carpitcher, three sisters, Leona Postoak, Jennie Trevina, Hilly Gunville, and one brother, Frank Hill.
Wake service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Rock Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa, Oklahoma.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Rock Spring Baptist Church with Charles West officiating. Interment to follow at Rock Spring Baptist Church Cemetery in Sasakwa, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers: Russell Hulbutta, Mike Shaffer, Matthew Carpitcher, Olie Gunville, Joey Hill, and Kevin Gunville.
Honorary Pallbearers: Aaron Hill, and Juan Perez.
