Hubert Harold Ferguson, Sr

Ferguson Hubert Harold Ferguson, Sr., Okemah, OK resident, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024 in Seminole, OK at the age of 89.

Hubert is survived by his wife, Ada Mae Ferguson; two daughters, Tammy Hurt and husband, Ted of Seminole and Janie King and husband, Richard of Okemah; sister, Barbara Grant of Cromwell, OK; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

Hubert was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Gracie Ferguson; brother, Chester Ferguson; three sisters, Evelyn Cleveland, Dixie Cooper and Opal Bellows; daughter, Patty Jackson; son, Junior Ferguson; great granddaughter, Scarlett Jackson; father-in-law, John Quinalty and mother-in-law, Dorothy Quinalty.

Hubert’s Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Bowlegs Assembly of God Church with Rev. David Shatwell and Rev. Willie Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
