Evelyn Puntka

Evelyn Puntka passed away Thursday, January 7th, 2021 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Evelyn was born February 9th, 1936 in Konawa, Oklahoma to Walter Burgess and Wisey Lowe Culley.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Burgess and Wisey Lowe Cully, children, Curtis Lindsey, Lincoln Puntka, siblings, Louise Harjo and Florence Proctor, Alec Burgess, Jonas Burgess, Frances Tanyan, Martha May Palmer, Liza Jesse and George Burgess.

She is survived by her children, Phyllis Puntka of Shawnee, Nancy Warden of Shawnee, Josh Puntka of Sasakwa, Janice Norcott of Springfield, Massachusetts, Carmelita Puntka of Ada, Samantha Puntka of Shawnee and Josette Mosier of Chickasha, 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, brother, Wallace Cully of Konawa, sister, Sue Givens of Konawa.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday January 11, 2021 at Spring Baptist Church Cemetery Sasakwa, Oklahoma.

Covid precautions must be observed, social distancing and mask required.
