Evangeline Elaine Hulbutta, age 65 of Wewoka, OK departed this life on Thursday, August 6, 2020 in Ada, OK.
She was born in Talihina, Oklahoma January 5, 1955 to the late Leroy Crosby and Katherine San Agustin.
She was a graduate of Broken Bow School and attended Pontotoc Tech School in nursing.
Her tribal membership was the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
Elaine married Paul Hulbutta December 1, 1994 in Shawnee, OK. She retired from Oakridge Nursing Home as an LPN.
Preceding Elaine in death are her parents, step children; Randy Hulbutta, Franklin Hulbutta and Sally Hulbutta Wesley.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Paul Hulbutta of the home, children; Chris Samuels of Norman,OK , Fabian Samuels, Stacey Samuels both of Wewoka, OK, Dion Samuels of Tecumseh, and Kelly Wade and of Moore, OK, two grandchildren; Elise and Jacey Wade, siblings, Becky Golden of Oklahoma City, Kathy Delno of Newcastle, Teola Chargualaf of San Diego, CA, Deborah Cruz of Del City, OK. step children; Chris Hulbutta, Veronica Hulbutta, Melissa Hulbutta, Crystal Hulbutta, Christina Hulbutta, and Russell Hulbutta.
Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Monday, August 10, 2020 at Oakwood Cemetery, with Minister Thomas Hulbutta officiating.
