Emma Cloud

Emma Lee Cloud, age 47 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away May 16, 2022 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City.

A Wake service is scheduled for 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18th at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19th at the Chapel, and Josh Carpitcher and Skip Foster will officiate.

Emma was born May 7, 1975 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to David Cloud and Rosie Ann (Carpitcher) Cloud. After attending high school, Emma worked as a housekeeper for New Horizon Nursing Home in Konawa.

She is survived by her mother, Rosie Ann Cloud of the home; two sons, Doyle Wederski, Jr. and Chevy Lee Wederski, both of Konawa; one brother David Hondo Cloud of Hominy, Oklahoma; two sisters, Rosie Mesale (Cloud) Harjo and husband, Darrell of Sasakwa, Oklahoma, and Matilda Ann Cloud of Stonewall, Oklahoma; two aunts, Evelyn Coursey and Betsy Bender, both of Wewoka, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Eric Brian Cloud and David Daniel Cloud; one sister, Tammy Michele Cloud; her paternal grandparents, Daniel Cloud and Annie (McCoy) Cloud; her maternal grandparents, Hobby Carpitcher and Missie (Harjo) Carpitcher; three uncles, Hobby, Aleck, and Fisher; and several cousins.
