Dorothy Chupco, Shawnee resident, passed away at the age of 67 on December 1, 2020 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Dorothy was born on December 11, 1952 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Louis and Juanita (Buck) Chupco.

She taught at Seminole Nation Head Start.

Dorothy was survived by her husband Eddie Harjo of Wewoka, OK; five daughters, Laurie Webber of Tecumseh, OK, Cassie Jacene of Shawnee, OK, Marium Chupco of Shawnee, OK, Carly Fox of Seminole, OK and Leigh Campell of Oklahoma City, OK; two brothers, Joe Chupco of Seminole, OK and Terry Chupco of Shawnee, OK; three sisters, Shirley Proctor of Virginia, Wanda Fox of Wewoka, OK and DeAnn Pierce of Moore, OK; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Juanita Chupco; daughter, Wanita “Bubba” Chupco; brothers, David Chupco and Ricky Chupco and sister, June Billie.

Wake services will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Wewoka Indian Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Wewoka Indian Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Kinney and Rev. Kevin Fox officiating. Burial will follow at Little Quarsarty Cemetery in Cromwell, OK.

Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
