Dorothy May Bruner passed away May 2, 2023. She was born November 9, 1944 in Stonewall, OK. She was the 8th child born to the late Charley and Pernie (Colbert) Bruner. She was raised in Wewoka and attended Johnson Grove and Butner High School.

She had 5 children, 2 proceeded her in death, James Dion Bruner and baby girl Bruner. She leaves to cherish 2 daughters Connie L Bruner and Karen C Bruner, and 1 son Marlone J Bruner, 7 grandsons and 4 granddaughters, and numerous great grand kids.

Her siblings 3 brothers, Willis Bruner, Bobby Bruner, and Fredric (Alberta) Bruner, 4 sisters, Corine Bruner, Ola Faye Bruner, Rena (Earl) Alford, Ellen (Reggie) Cooper, 1 aunt Regina Washington, a numerous of nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also proceeded in death by her parents, five brothers, and seven sisters.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 12, 2023 at Stout-Phillips Chapel in Wewoka, OK with Fred Bruner officiating. Interment to follow at Leader Cemetery in Leader, OK.
