Dorena Lee Nero age 55 departed this life on Monday, February 24, 2020 in Joliet, IL.
She was born June 20, 1964 in Wewoka, OK to Keoshi Wakatani and Lola Christine Lindsey Wakatani.
She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School and later attended college.
Dorena worked for Amazon as a Sales Trainer.
Preceding Dorena in death are her parents, son Joseph Nero, sister Marcella Haycox.
Survivors include daughter Shyann Nero of Willowbrook, IL, sons Matthew Nero, Christopher Nero and Joshua Nero all of Joliet, IL; two grandchildren Kholie Vicencio, Sebastian Nero; sisters Gretchen Wakatani of Appleton, WI; Tina Wakatani, one brother Michael Wakatani of Chicago.
The body will be taken at 4:00 PM Friday to Little Quarsarty Church for an evening Wake Service. Funeral service will be
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Little Quarsarty Church and burial at Lindsey Family Cemetery.
