Donna Mason

Tecumseh resident Donna Sue Mason passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 in Tecumseh at the age of 61.

Donna, the daughter of Virgil Phillip Wood Sr. and Mary Marie (Madragon) Wood, was born September 17, 1961, in Clovis, New Mexico. She graduated from Bowlegs High School with the class of 1979. Donna was a beautician for many years in Seminole, she was also a home decorator. She loved spending time with her family, particularly her grandkids, cooking, and going to the casino. She loved planting flowers and growing vegetables, and spending time with her dog (Pipper).

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Wood; three siblings, Jathanna Wood (Tinnie), Virgil Phillip Wood Jr. (Dumplin), and Wade Lee Wood; and her husband, Wayne Mason.

Donna is survived by her father, Virgil Wood; son, Waylon Sparks, of Shawnee; daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Timothy Long of Tecumseh; a brother, Phillip Wayne “Iky” Wood of Oklahoma City; and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

There will be a memorial service for Donna on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
