Dannie Ervin

Dannie Lee Ervin, age 83, passed away May 12, 2020 at his home in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

He was born April 16, 1937 in Checotah, Oklahoma to parents William Leo Ervin and Gloria Frances (Day) Akins.

He married Vila Roland on July 23, 1960 in Hanna, Oklahoma.

Dannie served his country in the U.S. Air Force attaining the rank of Airman First Class.

He was the owner/operator of Ervin Electric until his retirement. Surviving Dannie is his

Surviving Dannie is his wife of almost 60 years; Vila Ervin, four sons; Mike Ervin of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Keith Ervin of Lamar, Oklahoma, Brent Ervin of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Mark Ervin of Seminole, Oklahoma, sister; Alice Mitchell of Stillwater, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

No services are planned at this time.

Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
