Chester M. Holland, longtime Seminole resident, went to be with the Lord on February 26, 2020 in Atkins, Arkansas at the age of 77.

Chester was born January 26, 1943 in Seattle, Washington to Raymond and Alice (Risenhoover) Holland.

He attended and graduated from Seminole High School.

After graduation Chester joined the United States Air Force and served his country four years during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Oklahoma National Guard for 11 years.

Chester worked in the area oilfields some but was a truck driver most of his life. Earlier in life, Chester enjoyed deer hunting with his brothers and brothers-in-law.

Survivors include his wife, Opal of the home; sons, Cevin Holland and wife Bessie of Baytown, TX and Scott Holland and wife Mary of Sanford, NC; stepsons, Waylon and Warren Osborn of Bowlegs, OK and Wendell Osborn and wife Amber of Commerce, OK; step-daughter, Tammy Robertson and husband Eddie of Atkins, AR; 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Alice Holland; son, Monte Holland; step-daughter, Shari Osborn Patzell; two brothers, James Holland and Dennis Holland and two sisters, Sondra Hilton and Patricia Price.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm and Friday, Feb. 28 from 9:00 am-7:00 pm at OK Cremation and Funeral Home, 2415 N. Walnut Ave., Oklahoma City.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 29 at 4:00 pm at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole.
