Cherri Madkins

Cherri Doricell Madkins age 59, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born February 13, 1965 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to the late Felton Morgan and Doris (Graham) Liddell.

She graduated from Wewoka Highschool and worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant. She was a member of Saint Stephens Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and son, Denavarie Brooks.

Cherri is survived by her children, Kimberly Madkins and spouse Talon Wolfe of Seminole, OK, Craig Madkins and spouse Jessica Brown of Shawnee, OK; daughter in law, Kasey Brooks of Ada, OK; grandchildren, Jaestin, Ma’Kensley, Ra’Mya, Tympress, Talon Jr., Truce, Everlee, Kylynn; sisters, Robin Morgan, Donna Gabriel, Kathy Vicks, LaRhonda Alexander, Tiffany Agee, Tamara Moore, Marquita Phillips; brothers, Rodney Morgan, Timothy Morgan, Felton Morgan III, Manuel Gates, Jason Morgan, Jovan Morgan, Lavel Morgan, Neaven Morgan; aunts, Cathy Blackshire, Valerie Morgan; uncles, Darnell Edwards, Johnnie Whitfield, Dewayne Whitfield, Lavel “Nic” Morgan, Raymond Jordan, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at New Life Church in Wewoka, OK with Rev. Stacy Bert officiating. Interment to follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, OK.
