Charlynn Jones

Jones Charlynn “Bo” Mae Jones, Shawnee, OK resident, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 55. Bo was born on September 8, 1968 to Jack and Peggy ( Edgell) Irwin in Seminole, OK.

Bo is survived by her husband, Lonnie Joe Jones Sr. of Shawnee, OK; two sons, Johnny Jones and wife, Lacey of Seminole, OK and Lonnie Joe Jones Jr. and wife, Karri of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Iris Putney and husband, Chris of Shawnee, OK; sister, B.J. Irwin and Carrie Whitley of Henderson, NV; six grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

Bo was preceded in death by her father, Jack Irwin; mother, Peggy Hamun; step-father, Jack Hamun; aunt, DeWanda Edgell and several other cousins, aunts and uncles.

Viewing will be Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Seminole, OK. Cremation will follow.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
