Brent Parks

Brent Wayne Parks passed away September 8th, 2023 at his home in Wewoka, Oklahoma at the age of 54.

Brent was born May 10th, 1969 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Billy “Buster” Carl Parks and Louetta Marie (Clark) Parks. Brent graduated from Wewoka High School. He attended Seminole Jr. College and received his Associate’s Degree. Brent worked for Creek Nation Hospital as the Lab Manager for 20 years. Brent enjoyed watching football, he raised exotic snakes and taught medical lab students at the Creek Nation Hospital. He loved his family and the OU Sooners.

Brent is preceded in death by his parents and partner Ryan Bean. He is survived by his siblings; Billy Joe Parks of Sweden, Vickie North and Ray North Jr. of Little, Pammie Fent of Carlsbad, NM, nieces and nephews; Jesse Smith of Wewoka, January Hale and husband Brad of Prague, Ray North, III and wife Lori of Jenks, Krystal Bryant of Wewoka, and Whitney Pettes of Carlsbad, NM. Brent is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be at a later date.

Service under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka, Oklahoma.
